Applications are invited for the award of one Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) and one Project Assistant (PA) in the project entitled Mapping the adoption of improved varieties of major crops and management practices in Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Uttarakhand (UK) funded by IFPRI for a period of six month and likely to be extended for another six months depending upon satisfactory performance. The fellowship is Rs.40,000/-per month for PDF and Rs. 16,000/ per month will be paid to the Project Assistant. Candidates possessing Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Economics are eligible to apply for award of PDF having experience of research, application of tools in socioeconomic data analysis, knowledge of computer and willing to extensive travel will be preferred. However, candidates possessing Master of Computer Application (MCA) degree is eligible to apply for award of Project Assistant willing to extensive travel of different project sites will be preferred.

Candidates fulfilling the above qualification (s) may apply on plain paper as per the format/proforma given below latest by Feb 07, 2018 to the Dr. HN Singh, Prof. & Head, Department of Agril. Economics and should appear for interview on Feb 07, 2018 at 10.00 AM in the committee room of the department. No separate interview letters will be issued and no TA/DA would be paid for appearing in the interview. Candidates should bring their original certificates for verifications.
