Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Project Fellow in a DSTfunded research project with following details.

Name and number of the position: Project Fellow [One (1)]

Essential qualifications: First class M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from any recognized University or Institutes.

Desirable qualifications: In addition, the candidate should qualify one of the following all India level examination (CSIR/UGC NET, GATE ) or have DST-INSPIRE fellowship. Candidate having experience in organic synthesis will get preference.

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/-(consolidated).

Duration: 4 year

Candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit and will be informed via email. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The position is available immediately.

Note: The candidate selected for the position of project fellow will have the option to register for Ph.D program at IIEST-Shibpur, provided, the candidate must meet certain eligibility requirements and qualify the screening test.
