A walk-in-interview will be held in the Office of the Dean, Research and Development, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (formerly, Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur), Howrah 711013, West Bengal, on 31January, 2018at 11.00 AM for the recruitment of two posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the GITA sponsored project, as mentioned above. Details of the position are as follows:

Position: Senior Research Fellow (Two)

Principal Investigator and work place: Dr. Kalyan Kumar Bhar, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, IIEST, Shibpur.

Fellowship: Rs.25,000/-p.m. consolidated.

Nature and duration of post: The appointment will initially be on contract basis for a period of one year. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualifications: M. E. /M. Tech in Water Resources Engineering and minimum three years experience as registered research scholar working in Water Resources Problems/ MSc in Biotechnology with minimum one year experience as JRF/Project Fellow and having research experience in removal of arsenic from water. Knowledge of computer modeling/ programming/ application is preferable.

Age limit: Not more than 28 years, relaxable up to 5yrs. in case of SC/ST/PH/OBC/Women candidates.
