No., Academic Qualification, Work Experience etc.), for purely temporary posts of (i) one (1) Senior Research Fellow and (ii) one (1) Junior Research Fellow in Japan Based Company sponsored project entitled Design, Analysis and Fabrication of 0.25 hp Double Sided Axial Flux Switched Reluctance Motor (DSAF SRM) Drives for semi-electric/manual assist bicycle " in the Advanced Power Electronics(APE) Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur Howrah-711 103 .

Senior Research Fellow:

Essential Qualifications:

1. M.E. / M. Tech in Electrical Engineering from premier institute with Power Electronics and Drives related ME Project & thesis.
2. GATE Qualification with good percentile.
3. Age less than 32 years on the date of interview (relaxed 5 years for SC/ST/OBC).

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Hands on experience in Machine design (SRM), Power Electronic Converters and their control.
2. 2 year or more experience in R&D on Machine Drives and Power Electronics.
3. Knowledge of use of SEQUEL Simulation and Digital Controller.
4. Hands on experience on FEM Simulation (Electro Magnetics/Thermal/Flow/Structure).
5. Details concept of Gate drive design.
6. At least 75% marks in M.E / M. Tech.

Remuneration: Rs. 28,000 /-p.m. plus HRA (30%) as per rules.

Tenure: For a maximum period of 30 months (Renewable every 12 months as per Institute rules) or till the end of project which ever is earlier.

Junior Research Fellow:

Essential Qualifications:

1. B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
2. GATE Qualification with good percentile.
3. Age less than 28 years on the date of interview (relaxed 5 years for SC/ST/OBC).

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Hands on experience in Power Electronic Converter design and fabrication.
2. Knowledge of use of SEQUEL Simulation
3. Hands on experience on Micro Controller based Controll.
4. At least 60% marks in B.E / B. Tech.

Remuneration: Rs. 25,000 /-p.m. plus HRA (30%) as per rules.

Tenure: For a maximum period of 30 months (Renewable every 12 months as per Institute rules) or till the end of project whichever is earlier.

office of the Advanced Power Electronics (APE) Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIEST, Shibpur.
