Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Project Fellow in a DST-funded research project with following details.

Name and number of the position: Project Fellow [One (01)]

Essential qualifications: M. Sc. in Chemistry with minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5 grade points on a scale of 10) from any recognized University or Institutes.

Desirable qualifications: NET, GATE qualified candidates having strong interest in physical and synthetic organic chemistry would get preference.

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/-p.m. (consolidated).

Duration: Initially for One (01) year (The tenure may be extended upto another 3.5 years based on the performance).

Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on merit-cum-activities and will be informed via email/phone. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The position is available immediately.

Note: The candidate selected for the position of project fellow would have a choice to register for Ph. D program in the future at the Department of Chemistry, IIEST-Shibpur, however, the candidate must meet certain eligibility criteria and must qualify the screening test.
