Interested candidates are requested to appear for a walk in-interview on 03-07-2017 at 02:00 pm, for the following post at the Center of Excellence for Green Energy and Sensor Systems, Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, Howrah.

Junior Research Fellow: Number of vacancy 01 (One) Essential Qualification: First Class ME/M.Tech in Materials Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering with First Class B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/M.Sc. in Electronics Science/Chemistry/Physics from a recognized University with NET/GATE Score.

Desirable Qualification: Sound knowledge in materials synthesis, characterization and property evaluation. One year experience in R&D in the related field.

Fellowship: For first two years: Rs. 25,000/-(Basic) + Rs. 7,500/-(HRA) + Rs. 300 (Medical Allowances) = Total Rs. 32,800/-. For third year: Rs. 28,000/-(Basic) + Rs. 8,400/-(HRA) + Rs. 300 (Medical Allowances) = Total Rs. 36,700/-.

Duration: Total three years (two years as JRF, one year as SRF). Continuation of fellowship will be made on the basis of assessing annual performance of the candidate through proper committee.
