Applications on plain paper are invited for the post of Junior research Fellow available under the DBT project on Characterization and Conservation of Apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.) germplasm in Jammu and Kashmir state in district Kargil on following term and conditions.

Applicant for the post of JRF must possess post graduate degree in the field of fruit science/ Plant breeding with specialization in temperate fruit crops/botany having specialization in temperate crops from a recognised university. Preference will be given to the candidates having post graduation in fruit science.

Applications supported with relevant documents must reach the office of Principal Investigator, DBT project C/O I/C MARES, SKUAST-Kargil by or before 010/09/2017. The applications complete in all aspects can also be sent on official mail of the MARES, Kargil.

Eligible candidates shall have to appear for the interview at MARES, SKUAST-K,

Kargil. The date of interview will be conveyed telephonically The position is temporary & co-terminus with the project. The emoluments shall be paid as per the norms and guidelines of the funding agency No TA/DA will be provided to the applicant for attending the interview. Selected candidate shall have to work in Kargil as the project is located in Kargil.
