Qualification

Essential

i) Doctorate degree in any discipline/ subject of the concerned faculty.
ii) 15 years experience of teaching/ research and/or extension of which at least 05 years should be in the rank of Professor/Chief Scientist or equivalent in an Agricultural University or Research Institute. (The period spent in obtaining Ph. D. degree will not be counted as teaching/research and/or extension experience.)

Desirable

i) Evidence of Leadership & outstanding achievements in teaching & organizing teaching.
ii) Good knowledge of modern agricultural educational system.
iii) Basic and post graduate degree in the concerned faculty.

Note: The appointment to the post shall be on tenure basis for a period of 05 years.

Dean Students Welfare

(Pay Band of ` 37,400-67,000 with Academic Grade Pay of `10000/-) UGC Scale

i) Doctorate degree in any discipline/subject in Agriculture or allied sciences
ii) 15 years experience of teaching/research and/or extension/students welfare of which at least 05 years should be in the rank of Professor/Chief Scientist or equivalent in an Agricultural University or Research Institute. (The period spent in obtaining Ph. D. degree will not be counted as teaching/research and/or extension experience.)

Desirable

i) Evidence of leadership & outstanding achievements in teaching & organizing teaching/ students welfare activities.
ii) Good knowledge of modern agricultural educational system.
iii) Basic and post graduate degree in the concerned discipline/subject in Agriculture or allied sciences.

Note: The appointment to the post shall be on tenure basis for a period of 05 years.

4.

Registrar

(Pay Band of 37,400-67000 with Grade Pay of 10000)UGC Scale

Qualification

Essential

i) Doctorate degree in any branch of Agri./Veterinary or allied Sciences
ii) 15 years administrative/academic experience in University /Government / autonomous body of which 07 years should be in the rank of Professor or equivalent in an Agricultural University or Research Institute
iii) Experience of establishment work, personnel management and knowledge of service rules.

Desirable

i) Evidence of leadership & outstanding achievements in teaching and organizing teaching
ii) Good knowledge of modern agricultural education system.

Note:

i) The appointment to the post shall be on tenure basis for a period of 05 years

Director Planning & Monitoring

(Pay Band of ` 37,400-67,000 with Academic Grade Pay of `10,000) UGC Scale

Qualification

Essential

i) Doctorate degree in any branch of Agriculture/Veterinary or allied sciences (Basic and postgraduate degree in the concerned subject will be essential)
ii) 15 years experience of teaching/ research and/or extension of which at least 05 years should be in the rank of Professor/Chief Scientist or equivalent in an Agricultural University or Research Institute. (The period spent in obtaining Ph.D degree will not be counted as teaching/research and/or extension experience).
iii) Experience of Project Planning in the field of Agricultural Education/ Research/Extension

Desirable

i) Evidence of leadership & outstanding achievements in teaching, planning, research & organizing teaching/students welfare activities.
ii) Good knowledge of modern agricultural educational system.

Note: The appointment to the post shall be on tenure basis for a period of 05 years.

In-service candidates

:

The in-service eligible candidates should forward their Application Forms through their employer. The Application Forms, which are not routed through proper channel, shall be summarily rejected and no correspondence and/or enquiry thereon shall be entertained. In case of selection of in-service candidates, their services shall be regulated in accordance with the statutory provisions as are in vogue or as may come into force from time to time.

SUBMISSION:

a. Application Form(s),along with proforma for API Score to be downloaded from the University website www.skuastkashmir.ac ., complete in all respects duly supported with attested copies of all certificates/testimonials obtained by the candidate before last date of receipt and four extra copies of the duly completed Application Form, should reach the office of Registrar, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir, Shalimar, Srinagar 190025, Kashmir J&K, alongwith a non-refundable Application Fee of `2000/- (Rupees two thousand only) in the shape of Bank Draft pledged to Comptroller, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir, Shalimar, Srinagar 190025, Kashmir.

2.

The candidate should also indicate Advt.Notice No. & date, his/her name and the name of the post for which applied on the back of the Bank Draft/Bank Receipt.

3.

Mere submission of Application Form(s) for the positions advertised here-in-above does not by itself entitle an applicant to be called for interview;

4.

Candidates not fulfilling the requisite eligibility requirements prescribed here-in-above, as on the last date of receipt of Application Forms, need not to apply;

5.

Certificates in support of qualification must have been obtained from duly recognized University/Institutions or organizations/departments, as the case may be;

6.

University reserves the right to withdraw and/or defer filling up of all or any of the posts, advertised here-in-above, without assigning any reason thereof.

The service conditions of the appointee(s) shall be governed in accordance with the SKUAST-K Statutes and rules of the University as are in force with amendments or as may come into force from time to time, together read with the provisions of JK CSRs.

9.
