Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow

Applications in the prescribed format are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow for the research project under the Principal Investigator Dr. Virender Ranga, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Engineering as per the details given below:

Title of project : Partition Recovery of Wireless Sensor Networks with the integration of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)

Sponsor of the project : Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India

Project position and number : Junior Research Fellow (JRF), 01 No.

  • Essential Qualifications : B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Computer Engineering/IT with good programming skills such as /C/C++/Java/ Python

  • Desirable Qualifications : Research experience in similar field

  • Emoluments : Rs. 25,000/-per month

  • Duration : 36 months (3 years)*

  • Job description : The Junior Research Fellow is required to assist in carrying out various activities under the project to complete the objectives and deliverables in time as per schedule.

* Initially the appointment will be for six months from the date of joining which will be reviewed thereafter and, if found satisfactory, extended further for further six months during the duration of the project i.e. till 36 months.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.

  2. The written test/Interview schedule will be notified to the short listed candidates by mail soon after the last date.

  2. Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
