Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the temporary position of one Senior Research Fellow in the DBT sponsored research project entitled Marker assisted introgression of major blast resistance gene into Jehlum-a blast susceptible variety of rice (Oryza sativa L.) with high consumer acceptability with a consolidated monthly admissible under rules. Essential Qualifications: Masters Degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding/M. Sc Plant Pathology/ M.Sc. in Biotechnology (with specialization in Molecular Biology). Desirable: Ph.D. Degree/Post-M.Sc. research Experience on Molecular Biology from a recognized University/Institution; Computer knowledge of specific packages. Interested candidates may apply on plain paper and enclose complete biodata, two photographs and attested copies of all certificates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
