RECRUITMENT OF TEMPORARY FACULTY

National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand an Institution of National importance declared by an Act of Parliament, offers several undergraduate, postgraduate & doctoral programs in Technology, Science & Humanities and also provides excellent ambience for academic research and co-curricular activities.

The National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand invites various temporary teaching positions from Indian Nationals for Walk-In-Interview which is scheduled on 8th to 9th January 2018, in the following Departments of the Institute:

1. Civil Engineering

2. Computer Science Engineering

3. Electrical Engineering

4. Mechanical Engineering

5. Electronics Engineering

6. Science & Humanities (Social Science, Economics, English)

Qualifications:	(i)	For all Discipline in general: UG, PG and Ph.D. should be in the respective disciplines of Engineering & Technology, Science & Humanities. Preference may be given to PhD candidate. Preference will also be given to UG/PG/Ph.D from NITs/IITs.
	(ii)	For the Discipline of Engineering: First class both at UG and PG level (60% or 6.50/10 CGPA) from the recognized University/Institute and Ph.D. is desirable. Preference will also be given to UG/PG/Ph.D from NITs/IITs.
	(iii)	For the Discipline of Science & Humanities (Economics, Social Science , English): First class at PG level (60% or 6.50/10 CGPA) from the recognized University/Institute or First class at PG level and Ph.D. in the respective discipline.
Consolidated remuneration:	(i)	For those with Ph.D. Degree (Engg.) `56,000/- per month.
	(ii)	For those with Master Degree M.E. / M.Tech. or equivalent (Engg.) `49,000/- per month.
	(iii)	For those with Ph.D. Degree (Non Engg.) `49,000/- per month.
	(iv)	For those with M.Sc., / M.Phil / M.A./MBA Degree (Non Engg.) `35,000/- per month.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. The appointment is purely temporary for one semester.

2. This position does not confer any right on the applicant to claim either continuous employment or permanency in future.

3. The candidates should appear for Walk-In-Interview with original certificates, a set of photocopies of certificates and copy of Bio- data. In absence of originals, candidate shall not be considered for Interview.

4. All Degree Certificates should be from recognized Universities / Institutes. Further, candidates must attach conversion criteria of CGPA to percentage (%) from the University/Institution/Board.

5. The eligibility, qualifications/experience etc. for all the posts shall be determined as on date of Interview.

6. If suitable candidates are not available, post shall not be filled.

7. Institute reserves the right to decide the number of posts.

8. Reservation as per Govt. of India policy shall be observed.

10. The application form will be accepted between 09:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the room mentioned against each post.

11. The application form will not be accepted after 11:00 AM.

12. Those candidates who will report after 11:00 AM shall not be consider under any circumstances.

13. Candidates will have to appear for the Walk-In-Interview at their own cost.

14. The Institute reserves the right to reject the candidature without assigning any reason.

15. The applicants are required to visit the Institute website regularly as any subsequent corrigendum/addendum etc. shall be published on the Institute website only.

16. The selected candidates will be required to join immediately.

17. The decision of the competent authority will be final in the matter of selection.

18. Any dispute regarding the recruitment will fall under the jurisdiction of District Pauri Garhwal.
