ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROJECT ASSISTANT IN DST SPONSORED MAJOR RESEARCH PROJECT AT INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Application on plain paper with self-attested copies of supporting documents (X, XII, graduation certificates and marksheets, caste and PwD certificate in proper format if applicable and date of birth proof) along with completed bio-data, including contact number, e-mail ID, are invited for in the Department of Textiles, GOI sponsored Major Research Project . The posts are as follows:

The walk-in interview for the eligible candidates will be conducted in the Department of Management Studies, IIT (ISM), PO-ISM, Dhanbad-826004, Jharkhand on 8th March, 2018 (Thursday) at 10:00 am. The candidates should reach the department at the designated date and time for the interview. They should bring all original certificates as mentioned above along with one set of self-attested photocopy of all supporting documents and completed bio-data during the interview. An advance copy of the application and bio-data for the post applied for should be sent by e-mail/post so as to reach the concerned Principal Investigator in the Department of Management Studies on or before 4 PM of 7th March, 2018 (Wednesday). Name of the position applied for should be clearly mentioned in the application. The candidates who do not possess the valid original documents as mentioned above will not be considered for the interview. No separate call letter will be issued for attending the interview.

Qualification:

Post 1: Senior Research Expert - Graduate in any stream with minimum of 55% of marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwD) from AICTE/UGC/AIU recognized University/ institute. Candidates having experience of 12-24 months will be preferred.

Post 2: 02 Junior Research Expert- Graduate in any stream with minimum of 55% of marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwD) from AICTE/UGC/AIU recognized University/ institute. Candidates having experience of 06-12 months will be preferred.

Post 3: 0l investigator-- Graduate in any stream with minimum of 55% of marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwD) from AICTE/UGC/AIU recognized University/ institute. Candidates having experience of 06-12 months will be preferred.

Age: Not exceeding 40 years at the time of appointment. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates.

Fellowship: Senior Research Expert @ Rs.25, 000/- p.m, Junior Research Expert @Rs. 15000/- and investigator @ Rs.12, 000/- p.m per month for 12 months.TA/DA will be paid as per IIT (ISM) rules for any travel concerned with the project work. Position is temporary and co-terminus with the Project which is sanctioned for 1 year (i.e., 12 months). TA/DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
