Advertisement for the post of one Project JRF under SERB Projects at Institute of Nano Science and Technology

Walk-In-Interview will be conducted in Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali, on 05.01.2018 at 11.00 am to select one Project JRF in SERB project.

Title of the Research Projects:

1. Exploring the shell proteins of BMCPs as potential substrate for fabrication of Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Nanomaterials.

2. Cell Free Bioreactors from the Shell Proteins of Bacterial Microcompartments

Principal Investigator: Sharmistha Sinha, Scientist-D

Name of the position available: Project JRF

Number of positions available: Two

Essential qualifications: M.Sc. or M.Tech. / Chemistry/ Biology (NET/GATE score is required)

Desirable Experience: Research experience in Nanoscience is preferred but not must.

Age limit: Must not be over 28 years as on DATE (relaxable as per the norms/orders of Government of India).

Salary: Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA as per Govt. of India norms

Duration of engagement: Initially for one year and likely to be extended based on the performance of the candidate

General Term and Condition: The position is temporary and on contractual basis. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular Ph.D. program provided they satisfy the eligibility criterion for Ph.D. program as in INST norms.

Original documents of age proof/ certificates/ degrees/ mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented along with self-attested photocopies of these documents will be collected at the time of interview. A walk in interview will be conducted on 05.01.2018 at 11.00 am at INST Mohali.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
