1. In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific posts, the Goa Public Service Commission may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government, on the recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission, if the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do.

2. Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large, the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview as mentioned in the Instructions.

   
   

   1. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE

      1. Assistant Professors:

         1. Optometry 1 post [resvd for PH(Orthopaedically Handicapped) ]

         2. Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-.

         3. Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

         4. Educational & Other Qualifications:-

            Essential: (i) Masters degree in Optometry from a recognized University. (ii) Minimum 3 years teaching experience in concerned Speciality.

            (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

            Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi

            
            

            1. Medical Imaging Technology 1 post

               Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-.

            2. Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

               Educational & Other Qualifications:-

               Essential: (i) Master of Science in Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized University.

            3. (ii) Minimum 3 years teaching experience in concerned Speciality.

            4. Knowledge of Konkani.

      1. Junior Orthopaedic Sugeon 1 post

      Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-.

      Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

      Educational & Other Qualifications:-

      Essential (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

      (ii) Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

   3. GOA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

3. Associate Professors:

   1. Information Technology 1 post

   2. Civil Engineering 1 post

   3. Mechanical Engineering 1 post

   Scale of Pay: Rs. 37,400-67,000+9,000/-.

   Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

   Educational & Other Qualifications:-

   Essential: (i) Ph. D. or equivalent, from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Person guiding Ph. D. students and having Post Ph. D. Publications is highly desirable). (ii) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. (iii) Minimum 5 years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry out of which 2 years Post Ph.D. experience is desirable. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

   Essential: (i) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

   Note: For the above purpose, relevant means the branch in which the post is to be filled up or such other branch where there is demonstrative evidence of likeness of subject matter covered.

   Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

   IV. DIRECTORATE OF AGRICULTURE

5. Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, South 1 post (3rd time)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-.

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-

Essential: (i) Masters Degree in Veterinary Sciences from a recognised University. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Two years experience in Krishi Vigyan Kendra. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
