A walk-in-interview will be held at this Institute on 02.08.2017 at 11.00 A.M. for selection of following position on contractual basis and

co-terminus with the project as mentioned against the position as per rules.

Research Associate

Rs.38,000/- Per month for Master Degree Holders

Rs.40,000/- Per month for Doctoral Degree Holders

Ph.D. in any branch of Agriculture

OR

Masters degree in any branch of Agriculture with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelors degree having 1st Divn. or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training /other engagements and other eligible criteria as per the ICAR circular.

Senior Research Fellow

for 1st and 2nd year

for 3rd year

Masters Degree in any branch of agriculture/Irrigation and Drainage Engineering / Water Resources Development &Management / Remote Sensing & GIS /Environmental Science/ Chemistry with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree.

Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years of Masters degree should have NET qualification and other eligible criteria as per the ICAR circular ; OR

Ph. D of above subjects.

Masters Degree (Agriculture) Soil Science/ Agricultural Microbiology / Biotechnology /Environmental Science with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree.

OR

M. Tech. in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, or Water Resource Engineering with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree.

Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years of Masters degree should have NET qualification and other eligible criteria as per the ICAR circular; OR Ph. D of above subjects.

Maximum age Limit as on date of interview:

(i) RA- 40 years for men & 45 years for women (Relaxable for SC/ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms)
(ii) SRF: 35 years for men & 40 years women (Relaxable for SC/ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms)

Candidates seeking age relaxation shall submit required proof.

Place of posting: Bhubaneswar or Project sites ( Dhenkanal/Puri/Kendrapara).

The services of the appointed candidate will stand terminated automatically after expiry of the project/scheme or completion of period indicated in the selection offer, whichever is earlier. The candidate will not have any right for absorption in IIWM/ICAR.

The interested candidates are instructed to bring their curriculum vitae with one photograph and self attested photocopy of certificates on the date of walk-in-interview along with original certificates in support of qualification, age & experience for verification . The candidates are required to report for verification of the certificates etc. between 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM. on the date of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. No candidate will be entertained for interview who will report after 11.00 AM. The Director, ICAR-IIWM, Bhubaneswar reserves the right to cancel/reject the interview/ engagement without assigning any reason thereof.
