Essential Qualification and Experience: Master's degree in appropriate discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade point average with relevant experience of five years as Assistant Registrar in an academic Institution of repute in a post in PB3 with GP of Rs.5400 / Level 10 and above or equivalent, and demonstrated ability to supervise computerized administration.
The eligibility condition may be relaxed at the discretion of competent authority in respect of candidate who have considerable working experience at higher level in ERP enabled Finance and Accounts area and having professional qualification such as CA/ICWA.
Desirable Skills: Candidate should have leadership qualities and requisite experience in one or more of the following areas: Accounting, Auditing and financial procedures OR Administrative matters including legal, recruitment, establishment OR Academic matters such as conduct of examination, maintenance of students records, award of scholarships, degree, etc. OR Material Management, procurement /distribution of material, import procedure/stores accounting, stock verification, etc. Practical experience of using relevant software in related area is essential.
Selection Procedure : Selection process will consist of two tier scrutiny. Preliminary scrutiny on advertised criteria will be carried out by a committee appointed for the purpose. Preliminary shortlisted applications shall further be scrutinized by a committee who will shortlist the applicants to a desired number to be called for Group Discussion / final Interview after looking at their profile.

Essential Qualification and Experience : Master's degree or equivalent in appropriate discipline with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade point average with relevant experience in computerized administration, of six years after the qualifying degree, out of which three years should be at GP of Rs.4600/Level 7 or one year should be at GP of Rs.4800/Level 8 or equivalent.
Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Government rules and experience of working at supervisory level in Government funded Academic Institution. Leadership quality and requisite experience in one or more of the following area : Financial procedures/ Accounting / Auditing OR Administrative matters including recruitment, establishment rules, handling of disciplinary and legal matters OR procurement of equipments, consumables, instruments, furniture and fixtures (both indigenous & from abroad) and rules and regulations relating to stores purchase, stores accounting, stores verification etc. and Government procedures for importing items from abroad OR Rules and regulations concerning all matters pertaining of students academic records, senate records and implementation of senate decisions, award of scholarships, organization of annual convocation etc. and ability to organize and supervise the computerization of office work.
Selection Process: Written test and preliminary interview will be conducted for shortlisting the candidate for final selection process. Candidate successful in the above preliminaryselection processshall be called for final interview based on which selection will be carried out.
GeneralInformation:
1) Postsare permanent.
2) The applications received in response to advertisement will be scrutinized and only shortlisted candidates will be called for selection process. Merely fulfilling the requirements laid down in the advertisement will not automatically entitle any candidate to be called for further selection process.
3) Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidate to a reasonable limit by shortlisting the application based on academic performance and / or relevance of experience.
4) Two postsof Assistant Registrar (Job No. 261) are reserved for PwD (1 OH, 1 HH) which are backlog vacancies.
5) Posts of Assistant Registrar and Deputy Registrar are identified suitable for PwD candidates [VH, HH (partial), OH (OA, OL)].
6) Only such person who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability, would be eligible for reservation. Candidate has to submit relevant disability certificate as prescribed under The Rightsof Personswith DisabilitiesAct.
7) The Institute reserves the right to: (a) not to fill any of the advertised positions (b) fill consequential vacancies arising at the time of selection from available candidates. The number of positions is thus open to change.
8) Candidates (other than those belonging to SC/ST/PH and women) are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100/(nonrefundable) through online
9) Candidates seeking reservation benefits available for SC/OBC (NCL)/PwD must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in GoI orders. They should also be in possession of the certificates in the format prescribed by GoI in support of their claim at the time of application.
10) Candidatesseeking reservation for OBC (NCL) isrequired to attach a declaration, in addition to certificate in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority (format enclosed at AnnexureI).
11) Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the minimum essential qualifications and experience laid down in the advertisement. Qualification obtained has to be from recognised University/Institute.
12) The relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/OBC(NCL) candidates are applicable only if the post is reserved for particular category as per rules. Age relaxation for PwD and Exserviceman candidatesare asper rules.
13) Age relaxation would be as per Institute norms.
14) Candidates should upload self attested copies of certificates in support of their qualification (matriculation onwards), experience, pay drawn details, Date of Birth, Caste certificate etc. Original certificates should be produced at the time of Selection process as well as while joining.
15) Applicant is required to upload certificate/s in support of minimum required experience in proper format i.e. it should be on the organizations letter head, bearing the date of issue, specific period of work, designation, pay drawn for each position, duly certified by the concerned issuing authority.
16) Incomplete application shall be summarily rejected. Applicant shall keep a print out of filled application which shall be produced at the time of selection process.
17) Persons employed in Government and SemiGovernment organization or Educational Institution must upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer in support of their application.
18) In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the Institute reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidates.
19) In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Institute shall be final.
20) The Institute shall verify the antecedents and documents submitted by a candidate at any time at the time of appointment or during the tenure of the service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidates are fake or the candidate has a clandestine antecedents/background and has suppressed the said information, then his/her services shall be terminated and legal action maybe initiated against such candidates/employees.
21) Eligibility of a candidate for the post applied shall be considered as on the last date of closing of online application interface, asper criteria specified in the advertisement.
22) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
23) No interim correspondence will be entertained.
24) Outstation candidates called for final interview will be reimbursed air fare by economy class (by Air India only) to the Institute and back from city of your residence (in India) by the shortest route on production of the proof of onward journey and return journey.(Photocopy of the ticket/ receipt and the Boarding Pass for onward journey). Fare will not be paid on the spot, but will be reimbursed subsequently. Candidates called for preliminary selection processin case of Assistant Registrar shall be reimbursed with up to 2nd Tier AC rail fare .
25) No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and result of Written test/ Group Discussion and interview and reasonsfor not being called.
26) Applicants shortlisted based on the minimum eligibility criteria will be called for preliminary selection process tentatively in the 2nd week of May 2018 for the post of Assistant Registrar and for final selection tentatively in the 2nd week of June 2018 and for the post of Deputy Registrar, Group Discussion / Interview will be held tentativelyin the 3rd week of May2018.
