Faculty Positions (Rolling Advertisement)

IISER Mohali currently has openings for faculty members at various levels(Assistant Prof/Associate Prof/Professor) in all areas of Physics, Chemistry , Mathematics, Biology, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences. We are looking for extremely motivated scientists with a high-profile research agenda and a flair for teaching (especially at the undergraduate level).

IISER Mohali invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of:

Assistant Professor
To be appointed in Payband 3 with a minimum pay fixed at Rs. 30,000/- and with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8,000/-
Minimum Qualifications: PhD with a first class in the preceeding degree, and a minimum of three years of post-doctoral or equivalent experience.

Associate Professor
To be appointed in Payband 4 (Rs. 37,400-67,000) with a minimum pay fixed at Rs. 42,800/- and with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9,500/-
Minimum Qualifications: PhD with a first class in the preceeding degree, and a minimum of six years of teaching/research experience of which at least three years at the level of an assistant professor.

Professor
To be appointed in Payband 4 (Rs. 37,400-67,000) with a minimum pay fixed at Rs. 48,000/- and with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10,500/-
Minimum Qualifications: PhD with a first class in the preceeding degree, and a minimum of ten years of teaching/research experience of which at least four years should be at the level of an associate professor.

Application should include the CV, a complete list of publication and a brief research proposal on the work the candidate would like to pursue. Based on the qualifications of the candidates and the need of the department concerned, applications received will be processed through duly constituted selection committees at regular intervals. Minimum requirement of qualifications and/or experience can be relaxed in case of exceptionally outstanding candidates.
