Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow position in the area of experimental Nonlinear Optics, specifically in the area of stimulated Brillouin scattering, from Indian Nationals. The initial position will be for a period of 6 months

Eligibilty : MS or M.Sc/M. tech in Physics/Optics/equivalent subject with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent cumulative grade point average.

Desirable : Preference will be given to those who have experience in experimental study of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in optical fibers and other structures/materials and modelling and simulation of SBS.

Stipend: The salary will be as per DST norms. 25000/ + 20% HRA

Age: The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years.
