Job responsibilities: Shall assist in literature review, data collection and related activities, data analysis and report preparation related activities. The major portion of the project where RA shall help in

1) Studying and analyzing the changing nature of consumers, consumer duties/obligations, behavior of neo-consumers, assessment of adequacy of present consumer laws to address these aspects, emerging international trends and likely future scenario with respect to consumer protection.

2) Identify and suggest measures for outreach to provide awareness to consumers in rural and tribal areas

Required qualifications: MBA or a Post Graduate in Social Sciences, from reputed institution preferably first class in Masters. Applicants with good writing skill will be preferred.

Remuneration: Research Assistant will be given a stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month depending on qualification, experience, merit, performance in the interview. An additional bonus equivalent to one month salary, may be provided based on the quality of work. First month of work shall be the probation period.

Duration: Appointments will be made purely on contract basis till November 30, 2017, which can be further extended to six months to one year, based on the performance.
