For implementation of NHM in the State of Meghalaya, the office of the Director of Health Services (MCH&FW) Meghalaya, Shillong invites application from eligible and interested candidates for the following posts on Contract Basis as per detailed below:-

| 6 | State Consultant | 1 | As per NHM norms | 1. Post Graduate in Public Health or Social Sciences or Management or related field from a recognized institution/university or MBBS/BDS candidates with atleast 3 -5 years of experience. 2. Experience in tobacco control issues and knowledge about international/national tobacco control policies and health programs will be given preference. | State Tobacco Control Cell, Meghalaya, Shillong |
| 7 | District IEC/BCC Manager | 2 | As per NHM norms | 1. MA/Post Graduate in Mass Communication with at least 55% aggregate with at least two years experience in communication and community based activities or 2. BA in Mass Communication with at least 55% aggregate with at least five years experience in communication and community based activities 3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Local Languages 4. | 8 | District Community Process Coordinator (DCPC) | 1 | As per NHM norms | 1. Master degree in Social work or any of the social sciences 2. Atleast 2-3 years experience in management/ coordination of community health programmes community mobilization or related field activities with minimum of 1 year experience in health sector 3. Familiarity with /having worked in community health programmes, or on empowerment health volunteers or NGO health projects or involvement of PRIs in Health projects. 4. Sensitivity to and knowledge and experience of working on issues related to monitoring of health projects and coordination of Government & NGO cooperation in health programmes at the grassroots set-up. 5. Experience of having assisted/contributed/coordinated or worked as trainer and as organization support to training programmes at the district level is essential 6. Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with database management programmes and commonly used packages like MS Word,Excel,Power point etc. 7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skill in English and Hindi | South West Khasi Hills |
