EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited in the prescribed format from qualified candidates for appointment to the post of University Engineer on Permanent basis and Deputation basis* in the University.

Qualification for the post of University Engineer

Qualification

1. Post Graduate degree holder in Civil Engineering with First or second class or equivalent grade from a recognized University with not less than 15 years experience in Civil Engineering, design, construction and administration in Government or reputed private institution in a supervisory capacity.

Age limit :-The age limit for applying the post is above 40 years.

Emoluments; -Scale of Pay will be fixed by the Government.

* In absence of suitable candidate for direct recruitment, the officer who has not less than fifteen years experience in matters relating to Civil Engineering at Government of India or Government of Kerala will be considered.

OTHER INSTRUCTIONS

1. Registration fee: Rs.3000/- (For General Candidates)

   Rs.1500/- (For SC/ST Candidates)

2. Mode of Remittance: By cash at the University Cash counter(from 10.00 am to 3.00pm) or Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank Drawn in favour of the FinanceOfficer, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean studies payable at SBT, Vyttila.

3. How to apply : Interested candidates are requested to apply in the prescribed format with 2 sets of application which could be downloaded from the University website : www.kufos.ac.in along with their bio-data,supporting documents (Self attested) and proof of remitting the registration fee. Applications submitted not in the prescribed format /without supporting documents will be summarily rejected.

4. The qualifications and experience to this notification will become mandatory from the respective dates of effect prescribed.

5. The University reserves the right to

   1. Not fill up any or all posts advertised.

   2. Offer a post at a lower/higher level than notifying, depending upon the qualifications, experience and performance of a candidate;

   3. Draw reserve panels for appointment to possible future vacancies;

   4. Relax any of the desirable qualifications/experience at its discretion for reasons to be recorded.

6. The qualification prescribed shall be as on the last date of receipt of application

7. No interim queries regarding test/interview/selection will be entertained.

8. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification
