IIM Kashipur intends to engage a Research Associate for a period of three months for a project with Department of Consumer Affairs on the following terms and conditions:

Job responsibilities: This is a very prestigious project for IIM Kashipur and therefore we are looking for a person who can deliver the highest quality work, with total dedication and commitment. The primary job of the RA would be to integrate the individual reports and work completed by the experts in the area of Marketing, Law and HR. The objective of integration is to present the excellent work completed by experts as holistic report submissions to Department of Consumer Affairs. The integration would require writing/rewriting of reports, beautification of presentations, diagrams and tables, etc., creation of infographics (if required). He/she, therefore, is expected to have expertise on the following aspects:

A decent understanding of consumers and what motivates them to buy products online

and offline

An understanding of consumer protection issues and problems on different platforms

An experience of secondary research on articles on web

Ability to comprehend and suitably summarize the article, downloaded or as shared

by project experts.

Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones.

Impeccable spelling and grammar.

Proof reading/Copy Editing expertise.

High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs

Required qualifications: Post Graduate from reputed institution preferably first class in Masters.

Remuneration: Research Associate will be given a stipend of Rs. 40,000/-to Rs.50, 000/-per month depending on qualification, experience, merit, performance in the interview/test. An experience certificate will be issued at the end of successful engagement.

Duration: Appointments will be made purely on contract basis for a period of three months with first month as the probationary month.
