The Centre for Child and the Law (CCL), National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore is currently looking for competent and eligible candidates to fill in one Full Time Projects Facilitator post and join the team in Bangalore.
About the Centre for Child and the Law (CCL), NLSIU:
The Centre for Child and the Law (CCL) was established on 1st April 1996, as a specialized Research Centre of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore. The Centres mission is to institutionalize a child rights culture in the society. This was with a view to further the vision of NLSIU to integrate law with other social sciences, to impact legal education and contribute to law, policy and practice on child rights. The Centre undertakes Research and Direct Field Action on a range of child rights issues. The core thrust areas currently include Child Protection, Juvenile Justice, Universalisation of Quality Equitable School Education, Right to Food, Child Sexual Abuse, Child Labour and Child Marriage. It uses many approaches and engages in direct field intervention, participatory research and teaching, training as well as advocacy and networking in order to impact Policy, Law and Practice on issues concerning children. CCL NLSIU encourages a diverse work environment.
Details of the Positions
1. Projects Facilitator (One Full time position)
Projects Facilitator is a key position at CCL responsible for facilitating timely completion of planned activities, and ensuring efficient fiscal and programme management and reporting on various projects.
Qualifications: Essential
- Masters degree in Business Administration with a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Social Work/Law or similar fields.
Experience: Essential
- At least 8 10 years of experience in project management, fund raising and monitoring of diverse projects in a social development or research organization.
- Experience in designing and implementation of monitoring and reporting system for both program and finance related to proposed actions and approved budgets
- Engaging directly with donors, with a good understanding of donor priorities, funding source methods, etc.
Preferable
- Worked in University settings/ with Government /Donors /NGOs/ other similar
Institutions
- Appropriate Qualification in Administration/Management or the essential experience listed below.
Key responsibilities :

Monitoring implementation of the projects.

Identification of collaboration opportunities, technical assistance in preparing project proposals and analytical reports as per required formats.

Keeping track on the progress made on projects and realignments if any.

Assisting the Coordinator in overall management of CCLs programmes and Administration.

Any other tasks assigned by the Coordinator.
Skills and Personal Attributes:

Good Communications Skills (writing and Verbal) in Kannada and English
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to varied nature of work

Ability to maintain confidentiality and being sensitive to people

Sound knowledge and familiarity with finance, budgeting and administration

Ability to work in a Team and willingness to contribute and learn from others

Ability to work with communities and people of diverse backgrounds and needs

High level of computing skills and use of internet

High level of integrity and good time management
Remuneration: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, and will be within the range of Rs.60,000/- to Rs.70,000/- per month.
Duration: The position is till March, 2018 with no guarantee of automatic extension.
