Essential Qualifications : Bachelorsdegree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent qualification with 60% mark or equivalent.

Experience: 4 years training experience in Higher Secondary Schools/ Colleges/ Universities/ Educational Institutions of national repute as Physical Education Trainer (PET) or in similar capacities.

Age : Not more than 32 years as on 16^th January 2017 i.e born on or after 17.01.1985.

Job Profile:

Physical Education Trainer will be responsible for organizing games and challenges that promote physical activity among the students and other campus residents.

Give alternative exercises during workouts or classes for different levels of fitness and

skill. Give emergency first aid if needed Their goal is to develop skills and physical development among young students and proper

exercise and eating habits among them. Instruct students on importance of regular amounts of appropriate physical activity throughout life.

Explain and enforce safety rules governing sports, recreational activities, and the use of sports and exercise equipment.

PE trainer must adjust their curricula to adapt to those with disabilities or different physical abilities.

Additionally, PET will have to coach sports team.

They also need to demonstrate how to carry out various exercises and routines and be able to communicate and demonstrate the sports/games properly.

In addition to students, may have to interact with parents, other teachers and the Institute administrators.

Document attendance, grades and other records as necessary.

Organize and lead group exercise sessions, which can include aerobic exercise, stretching, muscle conditioning or meditation, teach popular conditioning methods such as Pilates or yoga.

Provide information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues.

PE trainer is often required to do a variety of tasks in addition to his fitness duties, such as creating posters and flyers, organising games and sports activities for the Institutes as per its requirement from time to time. He will often has to handle administrative duties required for the job profile or assigned by the Institute from time to time.

The Performance Related Incentive Scheme (PRIS) of DAE may be applicable to NISER (subject to orders from DAE), under which, there is a provision for monthly incentive of 20% of the basic pay.

Scientific Officers are also eligible for DAEs update allowance, depending upon their scale and pay.

ii) Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the post as on the date of eligibility. The on-line applications are purely provisional, subject to verification of details/original documents when the candidate reports for the skill test/written test/interview.

iii) The candidates have to pay application fee of 500/-(Rupees five hundred only) inthe shape of BankDemandDraft only, drawn infavour of FINANCE

OFFICER, NISER and payable at Bhubaneswar. Application fee is exempted for the women/SC/ST/PWD candidates. iv) Before applying the candidate should ensure that he/she is fulfilling all the requisite qualification and experience. v) The candidate should have a valid email id for applying, which should remain active till the end of the recruitment process.

vi) The candidate should keep the following items ready before going for apply. a) Soft copy (JPG file) of passport size photograph of the candidate. b) Scanned copy of Signature of the candidate. c) Demand draft of requite value.

vii) After final submission of application the candidate should take printout of the online application form and send it to the below mentioned address so as to reach on or before 23^rd January 2017 through Registered/Speed post only with the DD and self-attested photocopies of certificates providing his/her age, qualification and experience. viii) The application form complete in all respect along with DD and self-attested copies of relevant certificates in support of educational qualifications, age, caste and experience etc. must reach in the sealed envelope to the Recruitment Cell at the address mentioned above on or before 23.01.2017. GROUNDS OF REJECTION:

Application in any other mode except as described above. Application received without DD of requisite amount. Application received after the last date i.e. 23.01.2017. Application of candidate not fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Application without relevant self-attested copies of certificates
