Date: 20-07-2017 Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible candidates for one position of Research Assistant on contractual basis on a consolidated fellowship/stipend of Rs.35000/-per month for a period of one year for the project -Creation of Digital & Audio Visual Database and DTH under the Department of Museology.
Number of Positions: One (1) Essential Qualifications:
- (i)
- Candidates should have Masters in Museology/Conservation/History of Art or related discipline with 55 % marks.
- (ii)
- Good working knowledge of computer.
Experience:
Working experience with one to two years of research/ projects related to Museology, museum documentation, digital documentation.
Age limit: Not to exceed 40 years on the last date of issue of this advertisement. Relaxation in age for deserving candidates, if any, shall be at the sole discretion of the competent authority of NMI.
Note: It is amply clarified that above engagement will be purely casual/ contractual initially for a period of one-year extendable maximum up-to completion of the Project under Department of Museology or subject to performance of the selected candidate as the case may be. Under no circumstances the above Research Assistant/Fellow will be considered as Institutes employee or may claim for regularization in future as the contractual arrangement is meant for the Project under Department of Museology only.
