This Institute is an autonomous body under Ministry of Culture, Government of India and a Deemed to be University under UGC Act, 1956 (3 of 1956).

Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible candidates for one position of ACADEMIC ASSISTANT to assist all academic affairs of the Institute on contractual basis on monthly consolidated salary of Rs.20,000/- per month.

Essential qualifications:

Masters degree in History of Art/Conservation/Museology or related discipline from

a recognized University/Deemed to be University;

Good working knowledge of computer (MS office);

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

Sound knowledge of operating and trouble-shooting office electronic equipment;

Experience in related work in a College/University.

Not to exceed 40 years on the last date of issue of this advertisement. Relaxation in age for deserving candidates, if any, shall be at the sole discretion of the competent authority of NMI.

It is amply clarified that above engagement will be purely casual/ contractual initially for a period of three to six months extendable subject to performance of the selected candidate. Under no circumstances the above Academic Assistant will be considered as Institutes employee or may claim for regularization in future as the contractual arrangement is meant for the academic assistance only.
