Applications are invited for a walk in interview to be held in the R&D Conference Room of the Administrative Building, IIT Guwahati on June 20, 2017 (Tuesday) at 09:30 AM for the temporary contractual positions of Office Assistant (Project mode) in the Research & Development Section of IIT Guwahati.

Name of post: Office Assistant (Project Mode).

No. of Posts: 2 (Two) the number of posts may vary depending on necessity

Pay: Rs.15000/- + 20% HRA + Medical Facility as per IIT Guwahati norms.

Qualification: Masters degree in Science / Humanities / Commerce.

Desirable: Preference may be given to candidates having relevant previous experience in office works.

Terms: Appointment will be initially made for a period of 11 months and may be extended on the basis of performance.

Application & Selection procedure: Candidates interested for the walk-in-interview will be required to come in person along with an application/CV giving details of all educational qualifications, experience and submit photocopies of relevant documents at the time of interview. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the qualifying written test followed by interview of the qualified candidates of the written test on the same day. The test will comprise of a basic knowledge of accounting, mathematics and computer. Candidates will not be sent any interview call letter separately. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview. Selection is not possible without appearing in the interview. All candidates must report by 09:00 am on the date of interview (June 20, 2017) in the R&D Conference Room on the top floor of the Administrative Building, IIT Guwahati.
