Sub : Recruitment of One Junior Project fellow (JPF) for the Project entitled "Participation and Performance of Girls in National Talent Search Scheme (NTSS) : A Spatial-Temporal Study from the Viewpoint of Gender Gap Analysis".

The Department of Gender Studies, NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi - 16 will hold the walk- in-interview on 6Th June, 2017 at 11.00 a.m. to recruit One Junior Project Fellow (JPF) under the above mentioned project. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis. The terms and conditions and other requirements of the fellowship are given as below :-

1. Qualification
a)Essential

Master's Degree in any subject preferably in Women's Studies / Gender Studies / Statistics / Social Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent for general category (50% marks or equivalent for SC/ST/PH)

Computer Proficiency : should be able to work efficiently on computer in English and Hindi

b) Desirable

Experience in educational research

Proficiency in research reporting, data handling and analysis, typing and presenting data using computer

2. Tenure Up to 31st March , 2018 ( Likely to be extended)
3. Age

Below 40 years as per UGC guidelines

4. Value of Fellowship

Rs.16,000/-(Consolidated and fixed for NET qualified candidates )

Rs.14,000/- (Consolidated and fixed for Non-Net) -

The interested candidates who fulfill the above conditions should attend the interview on 06-06-2017 at 11.00 a.m. in Department of Gende Studies, Room No. 1 , fifth floor, Zakir Hussain Block, NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-16 with their application along-with self-attested copies of certificates and other relevant documents

Note :- At the time of appearing for interview, candidates must bring their bio-data with one pass port size photograph and original certificates for verification

  • Candidate should report at 09.30 am for verification of documents.

Note:

  1. It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions in terms of Educational qualification and experience etc.

  2. Fellowship is purely on temporary basis.

  3. Candidates who are already in job should get their applications forwarded through their employers and /or come with a "No Objection Certificate".

  4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

  5. The selected candidate may be required to join immediately.
