Indira Sagar Power Station (1000-MW), Narmada Nagar one of the generating Hydroelectric Power Units of NHDC Limited, a premier Hydro Power Company in the state of Madhya Pradesh requires Engineering Graduates (B.E./B.Tech.), Diploma and ITI holder of MP Domicile, to be engaged as Apprentices for a period of one year during the year 2017-18, as per the Provisions of Apprentices Act, 1961 && its Amendment Act, 2014 in the following discipline/branches:

Note:

1. Degree/Diploma / ITI acquired from Distance/ Correspondence education system is not eligible for the apprenticeship

2. There will be relaxation in minimum marks for wards(son/daughter/spouse) of NHDC cadre Employees.

3. Candidates should have passed/ possessed the above prescribed qualification of B.E./B.Tech./ Diploma/ITI in the respective discipline / trade as on 30th May 2017.

4. Candidates having one year post qualification experience or undergone any Apprentices training for one year or more shall not be eligible to apply

Reservations &Relaxations :

1. Reservation for Candidates belonging to OBC (non-creamy layer), SC/ST and persons with Disability category is as per the extant Act/ Government Rules/ Regulations.

2. Since the number of vacancies is tentative, which may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the Project.

3. 3% seats on horizontal basis shall be reserved for Persons with Disability (with disability 40% or more), which will be clubbed with respective category i.e. in SC,ST, OBC, UR.

4. The cut-off date for calculating age is 30th May 2017.

5. Age limit for all categories:

   1. Upper age: 25 Years, Minimum age : 18 Years

   2. Relaxation in Upper age limit

      • 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.

      • Additional 10 years for physically handicapped persons.

      • Additional 5 years for wards of NHDC regular employees (son/daughter).

6. Person with disability means a person suffering from not less than 40% of any disability [Low Vision/Blindness, Locomotors Disability & Hearing Impairment] as certified by a Medical Authority as per The Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995.

7. Preference will be given to eligible candidates hailing from Project Affected Family (i.e by NHDC Projects) on submission of valid Certificate.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Before applying for Apprenticeship Training in NHDC-Indira Sagar Power Station (E12152300044), should read carefully all terms and conditions set out in this Notification.

2. Candidates fulfilling above eligibility criteria want to apply for Technician (Vocational)/ ITI Trade apprentice should necessarily apply through on line apprenticeship portal www.apprenticeship.gov.in. After applying for NHDC Indira Sagar Power Station (E12152300044), the applicant should send copy of duly attested registration slip/ filled application (generated from the on line portal) along with the self-attested copies of documents as stated below within the prescribed last date.

3. Candidates fulfilling above eligibility criteria want to apply for Graduate and Technical/ Diploma Apprentice in the respective discipline/ trade may send his/ her application duly filled in the enclosed Application Format along with the self-attested copies of documents as stated below within the prescribed last date.

4. Completed application should include self-attested copies of following supportive documents:-

   1. Proof of Date of Birth/High school mark sheet/certificate

   2. Documents in support of Educational qualification i.e. mark sheet/certificate

   3. Documents in support of Technical qualification i.e. all semester Mark sheets of B.E./B.Tech/Diploma/ITI Certificate.

   4. Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate.

   5. Valid Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) in prescribed format. (if applicable).

   6. Self-undertaking for OBC Non Creamy layer (if applicable.)

   7. Disability certificate from District Medical Board (if Physically Handicapped).

   8. Copy of Employee Certificate in case of NHDC Employee whose son/daughter/spouse applies for apprentice.

5. Envelope containing the completed application with documents should be superscribed with Application for Graduate Apprentice / Diploma Apprentice / Trade/ITI Apprentice-2016-18.

6. Application Forms duly completed in all respect along with the self-attested copies of the documents mentioned above should be sent to The Senior Manager (HR), NHDC- Indira Sagar Power Station, Narmada Nagar, District-Khandwa (MP) Pin 450119.

7. The last date for online application through apprenticeship portal www.apprenticeship.gov.in in respect of Technician (Vocational)/ ITI Trade Apprentice and submission of completed application in respect of Graduate / Diploma/ Technical Apprentice for NHDC Indira Sagar Power Station is fixed on 30th May 2017. Applications received after the notified last date or application not legible or application without relevant documents as prescribed above shall be rejected.

8. NHDC Indira Sagar Power Station shall not be responsible for any postal / courier loss or delay in receipt of applications.

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Scrutiny of all applications received as per advertisement/ on line portal will be done to ascertain eligibility. Based on eligible applications received, selection process for Graduate/Diploma/ITI apprentices will be decided.

2. Applications received from the Wards (son/daughter/spouse) of NHDC cadre Employees will be considered separately.

   RATE OF STIPEND

   Selected candidates for respective apprenticeship training at Indira Sagar Power Station shall be paid consolidated monthly stipend as mentioned below. No other allowances or additional emoluments will be paid to them.

   1. For Graduate Apprentices - Rs. 6000/- Per Month.

   2. For Technical/Diploma Apprentices - Rs. 5500/- Per Month.

   3. For Technician (Vocational)/ITI Apprentices - Rs. 5395/- Per Month

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prospective candidates, before applying for apprentice training, must visit our website www.nhdcindia.com for detailed notification and to ensure they are eligible to apply.

2. Candidates are advised to possess a valid e-mail ID & Mobile number, which is to be entered in the application form. They are also advised to retain their e-mail ID & Mobile number for six months, as any important information regarding Apprenticeship will be conveyed through same.

3. Applicants may note that, if selected as Apprentice, completion of training will be subject to registration of Apprenticeship by Board of Apprentices Training (BOAT) Mumbai and Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT), Kanpur as the case may be. Due to any reason the BOAT Mumbai or RDAT Kanpur refuses to register the Apprenticeship of any candidate, such candidature will be terminated and he/she will not be issued Apprenticeship Certificate.

4. If at any stage of training, it is found that candidate has furnished false/incorrect information or concealed any information, his/her Apprenticeship shall be cancelled and suitable action will be taken as per extent rules.

5. In case candidate wants of change/modify any information furnished in the application, a fresh application with revised data can be submitted before the notified last date. Resubmission of applications are allowed maximum 2 times (including first original application) only.

6. Candidate shall be bound by rules made by NHDC Indira Sagar Power Station, Narmada Nagar for selection process.

7. NHDC Indira Sagar Power Station will not provide any accommodation / conveyance facilities to the selected apprentices at the Project during the permitted apprenticeship period rather they have to make their own arrangement in this regard.

8. The NHDC Management reserves the right to Revise/Reschedule / Cancel/ suspend the process without assigning any reasons. The decision of the management shall be final and no appeal shall be entertained.

9. Any dispute arising regarding this Apprenticeship will be limited to District Khandwa, (Madhya Pradesh) jurisdiction only.

10. If there is any variation between the English & Hindi versions of the Advertisement, English version may be treated as authentic.

12. Please note that this is an advertisement only for one year Apprentices Training and not for any job/employment in the Company. Mere engagement of eligible candidates as apprentices will not entitle them to claim any type of employment in NHDC. NHDC Limited will not offer any employment to such candidates and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
