Consultants

Young, energetic and passionate candidates who want to engage in improving the Panchayat Governance for rural development through the project Transforming India through Strengthening Panchayat Raj Institutions by Continuous Training and E-enablement which is being implemented by NIRD&PR can apply for the assignment of Consultants to work at New Delhi with MoPR.

Eligibility Criteria

a)

Qualification

Masters degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, Rural Management, Finance or other relevant disciplines.

b)

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Conducting Research, Providing Consultancy, Handling Reviews and Evaluations etc. in the area of Rural Development / Local Governance, engaging in rural development activities, skill development activities, livelihood creation

Preferred Experiences/

qualifications

Demonstrate professional competence and expert knowledge in Panchayat Raj and Rural Development areas with substantive work experience

Demonstrate experience in conducting research, reviews, evaluations in local government system, in the areas of administrative, Finance and Project Management etc.

Excellent oral and written communication,

computer proficiency, sound analytical and project management skills are essential.

Consistency in handling Project Activities and a positive attitude is a must

Plan, prioritize, and deliver tasks on time and produce quality results to meet the project goals

Able to provide coaching and advice to the project team members.

Remuneration

Rs 80,000/ - Per Month

Selection Process

Written test followed by personal interview will be conducted by the Selection Committee.

Period of Engagement

The initial term of engagement is for two years and subsequent extension if any, will be considered on case to case basis depending on the requirement, quality of output, and performance appraisal etc
