NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application for the position of R&D Engineer (Project).

Applications are invited for the position of R&D Engineer (Project) in the laboratory of Prof. Pravat K. Mandal at National Brain Research Centre, Manesar, India. The scientific interest of the lab is to identify early in vivo biomarkers for neurodegenerative disorders, new/novel signal processing toolbox (Kalpana), Indian Brain Template and new toolbox (Boldsync for fMRI study). The lab uses multi-modal neuroimaging techniques, i.e. magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), functional MRI (fMRI), and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and MEG data to investigate the associated structural, functional, and neurochemical brain alterations, respectively. Essential qualification	B. E. / B. Tech. (Electrical / Electronic / Computer Science) Minimum 60% marks from matriculation onwards.
Desirable qualification / Experience	Excellent scientific communication and matlab coding. Ability to multitask, effective project leadership in Neuroscience and management.
Mandatory requirement	Statement of Purpose (SOP) (minimum 500 words) indicate how his/her experience/expertise and your candidate should indicate how his / her experience / expertise will help ongoing research activities. Application without SOP will not be shortlisted.
Age Limit	The upper age limit shall be 30 years as on the closing date for receipt of application.

Job Responsibilities	The candidate will work methods (toobox) and technique (fmri) development (Boldsyns) in consultation with the Principal Investigator.
