Applications are invited from the eligible candidates, for filling up of the following posts on adhoc basis for the CDC-USA funded project entitled Providing Laboratory support for surveillance of Japanese encephalitis in India Project Code : CDC/001/107/2013/00708 under Dr.V.Ravi, Professor and Head, Dept. of Neurovirology & Principal Investigator.

Positions at Uttar Pradesh

Educational Qualification	:	MBBS
Experience (Desirable)	:	Post graduation in any of the following postgraduate courses is desirable: DCH/ MD (Paed)/MD (Internal Med)/DM (Neurology). Experience in screening and clinical management of Acute encephalitis cases (AES) and collection of samples. Familiarity with guidelines and standards of care in the management and treatment of AES patients. Some experience in the treatment of critically ill children will be considered a bonus.

Medical Officer: Walk in interviews will be conducted at Deoria District hospital during the first week of December 2015 and candidates are encouraged to submit their applications well in advance.

Laboratory Co-ordinator: Interviews will be conducted for eligible and shortlisted candidates at Lucknow and dates will be intimated by third week of November.

2. Positions at NIMHANS, Bangalore:

Interviews will be held for eligible and shortlisted candidates at NIMHANS, Bangalore and dates will be intimated by third week of November.

3. Positions at Assam:

Interviews for eligible and shortlisted candidates will be conducted at Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati, Assam and the dates will be intimated by third week of November.

4. Positions at West Bengal:

Interviews for eligible and shortlisted candidates will be conducted at Kolkata School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata, West Bengal and the dates will be intimated by third week of November.

Duration of the Posts: Three Years

Tenure of Appointment: Initial appointment will be made for a period of One year and the same will be renewed yearly depending upon the performance of the candidate.
