NOTICE

Engagement of IT Experts in the Competition Commission of India on contract basis.

Competition Commission of India, New Delhi, established in pursuance of the Competition Act, 2002, invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Three (03) Experts in the field of Information Technology to assist the Commission in the discharge of its functions under the Competition Act.

2. Experts are required initially for a period of one year which can be further extended as per requirements. He/She will assist the Commission in discharge of its functions under the Competition Act, 2002 and undertake such work/tasks as may be assigned to him/her from time to time. Applicants having following technical knowhow, skill sets and experience may apply:

  • Knowledge of Software Development & Project Management

  • Thorough knowledge in LAN/WAN design development.

  • Skills in development of web based application and maintenance

  • Skills for development of e-filing portal.

  • Skills in Database design and development.

  • Administrative and Technical expertise in service delivery.

  1. Applicants for engagement as Expert (Level-III) should have qualification of B Tech (Information Technology/ Computer Science)/MCA/Masters Degree in Information Technology/Software System/Computer Science/M Sc (Mathematics). The applicant for engagement as Expert (Level-III) must have mandatory experience of 5 to 10 years in the field of Information Technology in Govt. of India having technical knowhow and skill sets in para 2 above. Applicants for engagement as Expert (Level-I & II) should have qualification of B Tech (IT/Computer Science)/MCA or equivalent. The details of eligibility criteria, remuneration payable and experience are given in the Annexure.

  2. For other terms and conditions of engagement of Expert (IT), the guidelines contained in the Competition Commission of India (Procedure for Engagement of Experts and Professionals) regulations, 2009 as may be amended from time to time shall be applicable and the decision of the Commission in all such matters will be final and binding.
