3	ICAR-NASF: Genetic improvement of rice for yield, NUE,WUE, abiotic and biotic stress tolerance through RNA guided Genome editing (CRISPR-Cas9/Cpf1).	SRF (1)	Rs 25,000 + 30% HRA/ Rs 25,000 (consolidated)	Essential: Ph.D. or M. Sc Degree in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics/allied sciences with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average. Desirable: One year research experience in bioinformatic/gene editing/CRISPR technology.

3	ICAR-NASF: (i)Understanding the mechanisms of tolerance to low light intensity in rice. (ii)Genetic improvement of rice for yield, NUE,WUE, abiotic and biotic stress tolerance through RNA guided Genome editing (CRISPR-Cas9/Cpf1). 4	DBT-ISCB funded project-Improvement of pigeon pea for plant type, pod borer resistance and moisture stress tolerance	Young Professional I	Rs. 25,000 consolidated	Essential: M.Sc with 60% marks in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences. Working experience in the area of Bioinformatics Desirable working experience: two years or more in Molecular Biology Techniques, plant tissue culture and genetic transformation are desirable.
5	DBT: Sequencing of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae pathotypes for better management of bacterial leaf blight in Rice	JRF/SRF/Youn g Professional II (one)	Rs 25,000 + 30% HRA	Essential: M.Sc. in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Allied Sciences/ with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with NET/GATE etc. 2 yrs research experience would be considered for SRF; NET/GATE not required for YP II. Desirable: Experience in molecular biology and microbial techniques.

Terms & Conditions

(i): The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to September 2018/March 2019 or till the termination of the project which-ever is earlier.
(ii): The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is coterminus with the project.

(iii) The interview will be held on March 6^th, 2018 at 10.00 AM at NRCPB, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012. Reporting time and venue: 9:30 to 10:00 AM in the lecture room of NRCPB. If the interview for all posts could not be completed in one day, the same will commence on Next day at the same venue.

(iv): Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF and 40 years for RA (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC) while for skilled helper it is 30 years of age (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC)
(v): The candidates will have to compulsorily bring the filled in application form (four copies as per the format annexed), all the original certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional and one set of the self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted onto the application form. Proof of experience and publications also need to be submitted
(vi): No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

(vii) Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.

(viii) Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.

(ix): It may be noted that for contractual staff, 10^th pass certificate is essential to be brought while attending the interview.
(x): The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, will have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing.
(xi): All the other candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.
