Applications are invited for the Apprenticeship Training of the following Trades under Apprenticeship

-A.r 1961in this office. The numbers of vacancies are given below against the Trades,

Note: (i)Reservation and Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-serviceman quota as per Govt. Rules.

(ii) a) PH includes PH by'one leg(OL)/both legs(BL)/low vision(LV)/hearing handicapped(IIlI).

1. Ex-serviceman includes children of Ex-serviceman, Children of deceased/disabled Ex-serviceman including those killed/disabled during peace time and Children of serving Jawans/Offi cers.

   Educational Qualification:- SL No. 1-Vlllth Class Passed from recognized School. SI. No. 2-Pass in SSC or equivalent 10th Class pass under 10+2 system with Science (For Male Candidate Only). SI. NO. 3- ITI passed in COPA Trade(Computer Operator & Programming Assistant). SI. No. 4-Passed in Diploma in Printing Technology from the recognized Institute.

   Age:- The age for the trades is prescribed above 14 years as on the date of Publication. The candidates up to 19 years will be preferred.

   Period of Training:- The period of Training for SI. No. 1 is two years, SI. No. 2 is thre years and SI. No. 3 &4 is one year.

   Stipend:- For 1st ,2 nd & 3rd year will be 70%, 80% & 90% of (Basic Pay Rs. 4500/- + Variable Special allowances) respectively, e.g. First year Rs.5590/-p.m. (Approx), Second year Rs.6388/- p.m.(Approx) & Third year Rs. 7187/- p.m.(Approx).

   Security and Condition:- Every apprentice will be bound by means of contract in such a form as may be prescribed by the Govt. which is executed by the guardian, to provide inter-alia refund of Cost of Training to the employer as prescribed under the rules. In case the Apprentice fails to complete the training he will be governed under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and the Apprenticeship rules 1962 made there under.

   No TA/DA will be paid to the apprentice & no accommodation facilities during apprenticeship.

   It shall not be obligatory on the part of employer to offer any employment to the Apprentice on successful completion o.f Apprenticeship Training.

   How to Apply :- Application in the format (Annexure-1) neatly typed on a plain paper together with attested copy of Certificates in support of age and Educational Qualification should reach the "Manager, Govt. of India Press, Gandhinagar, Nashik-422006" within 21 days from the date of Advertisement. Separate application for each trade will be considered only. The candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman) should enclose attested certificate issued by the competent authority with their applications. The application without certificate (Attested from the competent authority) will not be entertained. The application containing incomplete information and received after the specified date will not be considered.
