CeNS invites applications from candidates for temporary positions of Research Associates to carry out research and development activities related to the scientific objectives of the Centre. The applicant must have a PhD degree in relevant fields and work experience in one of the following areas is desirable.

Nanoscience and technology Soft matter Device fabrication, Solar cells Synthesis and characterization of materials.

Those who have submitted PhD thesis and awaiting award of the degree may also apply.

The term of the contract shall initially be for a period of one year, extendable depending on the progress of the project work. The emoluments will be fixed as per the norms prescribed by Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, commensurate with the qualification and experience in the research area specified above.

It may be noted that the appointment is purely temporary and the candidate shall not carry any right to seek regular employment after completion of the project work.
