NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited for the eligible candidates for the following posts on contract basis in the National Health Mission, Government Of Karnataka funded project entitled Development Of E-Monitoring Format for DMHP in Karnataka Dr. N.Girish, Prof. of Epidemiology and Principal Investigator.

3. Essential Qualification First Class Masters Degree in Computer

Science (MCA / M.Sc in Computer

Science)/B.Tech or BE ( computer

sciences) from a recognized university

in a regular course.

4. Experience:

Candidates must have at least three years of experience as a database administrator / computer programmer. Experience in work relating to Windows Administration, Apache and IIS server, PHP Object Oriented Programming, and MySQL Database installation and management is preferred.

1-2 years experience in managing both hardware & software computer applications in large scale research programmes in health care services desirable.

5. Maximum age limit Not exceeding 40 years

6. Responsibilities

Installation and up-gradation of pre-designed software applications (PHP), databases (SQL) and local servers on Windows based tablets

Designing and Running SQL queries on database

Extracting and exporting data from the databases

Making Regular Backups of all data on tablets

Recovery of and Restoring the tablets with backup data as per requirements

Managing Windows user accounts for controlled access to software

Maintaining system security of tablets

Troubleshooting of Windows OS related problems

Liaison with foreign partners for software support

Taking Regular Backups of all data on tablets and in External storage device

Updating and appraising the data flow on regular basis

Proficiency in trouble shooting during data collection activities

Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

7. Emoluments Rs.50,000 per month ( consolidated)

8. Duration of the Post 6 months and likely to be extended

Should speak read and write English Kannada fluently. Should have experience in module development. Work involves data collection, coordination, Modules development in English and Kannada, training and documentation. 40 years Rs.31,000/- p.m (Consolidated) 3 Years Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year which is extendable till the end of the project depending upon the performance of the candidate 1 (One) Post MA/MSW in social work (two years full term) with specialization in Medical and Psychiatric Social work. Should speak read and write English Kannada fluently. Experience in working with children in difficult circumstances will be given preference. 40 years Rs.17,000/- p.m (Consolidated) 3 Years Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year which is extendable till the end of the project depending upon the performance of the candidate
