CIRCULAR

Subject: Engagement of retired Staff Car Drivers on short term basis to run the Government Staff Car of NITI Aayog.

National Institute for Transforming India (NIT!) Aayog, Government of India, invites application for engagement of retired Staff Car Drivers (SCD) on short term basis to run the Government vehicles ofNITIAayog.

1. There is a tentative requirement of four (04) SCDs which may increase/decrease as per therequirementofNITIAayog. ThisAayoghastherighttoterminatetheservicesoftheengaged SCD at any time without assigning any reason.

2. Terms and conditions for engagement of retired Staff Car Drivers are at Annexure-I. Interested applicants may submit the duly filled application form placed at Annexire-II. The application should be submitted to Admn. IV Section (Room No. 415), 4th floor, NITI Aayog, Sansad Marg, New Delhi on or before 31.03.2017 positively.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENGAGEMENT OF RETIRED STAFF CAR DRIVER ON SHORT TERM BASIS

1. Name of the Post: Staff Car Driver

2. Number of Posts: -' 04(Four)

3. PeriodofEngagement: Initiallyforaperiodofoneyearextendable upto3to5years on yearly basis subject to being found fit or quality of their performance.

4. Age: Should be a retired Staff Car Driver of Central Government.

5. Qualification: Possession of a valid driving license for motor cars. Should be medically fit to run government vehicles.

   1. Method of recruitment: Selection of the Staff Car Drivers will be made by a Screening Committee comprising of the following Officers of NITI Aayog:

(iii) Under Secretary, Staff Car Cell : Member

7. Remuneration: "the retired Staff Car Drivers will be engaged on the basis of the remuneration @ Rs. 14,6001-per month per person or on the basis offormula of Last Pay Drawn + DA -Pension, whichever is less. The Drivers will be paid additional remuneration on pro-rata basisfor their additional duty hours".
