NIMHANS is conducting Walk-in-Interview on 07.10.2017 @ 2.30 p.m. to fill following posts on contract basis for MoSJE funded project entitled National Survey on extent and pattern of substance use in India under Dr. Arun Kandasamy, Assoc. Professor of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator, NIMHANS.

1. Regional Technical Officer -

Equivalent to Research Officer

- Medical/Non-Medical of ICMR

Essential Qualification a) MBBS/Masters degree in psychology/

humanities/social work with 3 years

research/teaching experience after

completing internship or Ph.D/MD/MDS

b)Trained in the field of Mental Health/

substance use disorder

Desirable Experience a) Prior experience of coordination of project/s

b) Prior experience of organizing training

Programmes/workshops

c) Experience of working in surveys

conducted at district level or above

Nature of position Full time

Maximum age limit 45 years

Salary `51,030/- per month as ICMR Rule

Period of Contract About 9 months

2. Regional Technical Assistant(RTA)

- Equivalent to Research Assistant of

ICMR

Essential Qualification a) MBBS/Masters degree in psychology/

humanities social work

b) Should have a training in the field of

Mental Health / substance use disorder

c) Should be proficient in the use of

computers and internet and have

experience of managing online report

systems

Desirable Experience a) Experience of working in project/s

involving Multi-disciplinary team

b) Experience of organizing training

programmes / workshops

c) Experience of conducting field based data

collection or monitoring or field based

data collection

Salary `28,755/- per month as ICMR Rule
