Noti-Proj./WT-DBT/PDF/JCN/2017-18 12.06.2017 N O T I F I C A T I O N Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of the following post in the Department of Psychiatry on contract basis for the Wellcome Trust / DBT India Alliance funded project entitled Neurobiological Correlates & Translational Implications of Neuromodulation in OCD: A High Definition Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (HD-tDCS) Study under Dr. Janardhanan C. Narayanaswamy, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator. Name of the Post - Post-doctoral Fellow No. of Post - One Essential Qualifications - 1) MBBS plus PhD in Clinical Neurosciences with at least one year of research experience after the completion of PhD 2) Research Experience in tDCS & HD-tDCS 3) Clinical Research Experience in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder 4) Neuroimaging research experience in Psychiatry (subject recruitment, MRI scan performance & related work) 5) Experience in brain imaging research in psychiatry research applications involving E-prime software, MATLAB & Statistical Parametric Mapping supported by peer-reviewed publication** 6) Peer-reviewed research publications in tDCS** Desirable Qualifications - 1) Familiarity with any other research technique / software with Potential application in neurobiological research studies on obsessive-compulsive disorder 2) Peer-reviewed research publications** 3) Familiarity in EEG research application Maximum age limit - 35 Years Emoluments - Rs.40,000/- per month + HRA Duration of the Post - 5 Years Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year which will be extendable every year for 5 years or till the end of the project depending upon the performance of the candidate ** Copies of peer-reviewed publication(s) to be attached. Candidates are requested to provide CV explicitly mentioning all the required information to support the essential & desirable qualifications as well as copies of research publications. In addition, the applicant is required to submit a clinical research write-up (maximum up to 2 pages) summarizing experience, further clinical research goals & career aspirations.
