Noti./Proj./WTDBT/JRF/JCN/2017-18 23rd August 2017 N O T I F I C A T I O N Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of the following post in the Department of Psychiatry on contract basis for the Wellcome Trust / DBT India Alliance funded project entitled Neurobiological Correlates & Translational Implications of Neuromodulation in OCD: A High Definition Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (HD-tDCS) Study under Dr. Janardhanan C. Narayanaswamy, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator. Name of the Post - Junior Research Fellow No. of Post - One Essential Qualifications -

1) Master of Science- basic sciences/ neuroscience with at least one year of research experience

2) Experience in brain imaging research : applications involving MATLAB & Statistical Parametric Mapping; functional MRI image acquision and processing

3) Candidates should have a clinical degree (MBBS/BAMS/BHMS)

Desirable Qualifications - At least one peer reviewed publication* Maximum age limit - 35 Years Emoluments - Rs. 25000 per month + 30% HRA Duration of the Post - 5 Years Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year which will be extendable every year for 5 years or till the end of the project depending upon the performance of the candidate ** Copies of peer-reviewed publication(s) to be attached. Candidates are requested to provide CV explicitly mentioning all the required information to support the essential & desirable qualifications as well as copies of research publications. In addition, the applicant is required to submit a clinical research write-up (maximum up to 2 pages) summarizing experience, further clinical research goals & career aspirations.
