NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of post of Statistician on adhoc basis for the ICMR funded Project entitled Early psychosocial predictors of child mental health: longitudinal study of shared and distinctive risk and protective factors in UK & India under Dr.Prabha S. Chandra, Professor, & Head, Dept. of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator.

The project is of 3 years duration, which is a prospective, longitudinal postnatal follow-up of 650 women and their infants to identify prenatal, parental/ caregiving environment and developmental processes that influence behavioural and cognitive outcomes in children and families over time.

As the project involves interviews with women in post partum and also assessment of infants, we would prefer candidates who are fluent in Kannada.

Educational Qualification	-	M.Stat.(ISI)/ M.Sc in Statistics/ Biostatistics/ Medical Statistics/ Health Statistics/ Agricultural Statistics.
Experience	-	Minimum of 1 year in research
Maximum age limit	-	37 years (Relaxable in case of deserving candidates)
Emoluments	-	Rs.29,607/- P.M (Consolidated)
Duration of post	-	3 years Initial appointment will be made for a period of 1 year which will be extendable depending upon the performance of the candidate.

NIMHANS is conducting WALK-IN-INTEVIEW on 19.01.2016 at 2.30.p.m., to fill one post of Laboratory Technician on adhoc basis for the Project entitled Novel genetic models for hereditary spastic paraplegia proteins SPATACSIN (SPG11) and SPASTIZIN (SPG15) in Drosophila melanogaster nervous system under Dr.Ramakrishnan Kannan, Asst.
