INVITES Application for the post of DIRECTOR, NIPER, Hyderabad

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is an Institute of National Importance with proclaimed objectives of becoming Centre of Excellence for advanced research in Pharmaceutical Sciences. NIPER, Hyderabad started functioning from 19th October, 2007 from the premises of erstwhile R&D Centre of IDPL, Balanagar, Hyderabad. CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT), Hyderabad, a premier Research Institute, is the Mentor Institute for NIPER, Hyderabad. NIPER, Hyderabad has grown very fast and is currently ranked among top Pharmacy Institutions. The Institute offers degrees such as M.S. (Pharm.), M.B.A (Pharm.), M.Tech. (Pharm.) Courses and Ph.D. The areas currently covered include Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Pharmaceutics, Regulatory Toxicology, Process Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmaceutical Management. The NIPER, Hyderabad has excellent research facilities which are complemented by CSIR-IICT (Mentor-Institute) to update the knowledge and expose the students to various advanced techniques essential for research on drug discovery.

The mandate of the Institute is to create human resource of a high calibre to serve the academic Institutions and the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry and the profession, undertake cutting edge Research & Development in the area of drugs and pharmaceuticals and help the Indian Pharma Industry achieve its goal to become a global player.
