Education qualification

The candidate must have the following essential qualifications:

Essential

i. Bachelors degree in any discipline

Desirable

i. Ph.D.

ii. Masters of Engineering or Technology or Business Administration

iii. Master Degree in Economics/ Commerce/ Statistics/Operation Research/ Business Administration

Not exceeding 50 years of age

Experience

Candidates should preferably have minimum five years experience, including experience of leading teams for minimum two years. Experience in research/execution/evaluation/monitoring of projects/programmes is preferable.

The work experience requirement may be relaxed in exceptional cases in respect of deserving candidates.

Candidates should also possess strong analytical, communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Basic proficiency in essential IT tools like Microsoft Office suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word) is also desirable.

Job description

a) To lead a team of upto 6 Young Professionals for setting up outcome based reviews of new infrastructure and social sectors, including but not limited to:

Analysis of different sectors/schemes by interacting with experts within Industry, academia & ministries

Defining Outcome based metrics for concerned sectors/ schemes, based on identified most critical issues.

Quantitative assessment of current performance of sector/ scheme on these important metrics/ indicators, along with defining short term and long term targets for the same

Identification of short term and long term interventions to be taken by Ministries , Departments and/ or other relevant government bodies in order to improve critical outcomes related to the particular sector/ scheme.

b) To monitor progress of performance on agreed metrics; and actions identified in the reviews on an ongoing basis.

c) To liaison with different ministries to ensure timely monitoring of agreed upon metrics and publishing of a progress report.
