Government of India has recently approved National Nutrition Mission (NNM) aiming to bring about improvements in nutritional outcomes in the country. NITI Aayog has been assigned the work of undertaking periodic monitoring and evaluation of NNM through their Technical Support Unit (TSU). Further details on NNM can be obtained from the official website of the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

The following position are required to be filled by the NITI Aayog on contract basis for period of one year (extendable). Details of the posts and terms & conditions as well as period of engagement, eligibility, experience, etc are as under :

8.	Remuneration (per month)	For Consultants the remuneration is in accordance with para 6 of the Consultancy guidelines No.A.12013/2/2015-Admn.IB dated 11.11.2016. For YPs, the consolidated remuneration is Rs. 60,000/-per month (all inclusive). The guidelines are placed on NITI Aayogs website www.niti.gov.in

The terms and conditions of engagement of Consultants will be according to the Consultancy guidelines No. A.12013/2/2015-Admn.IB dated 11.11.2016 and YPs guidelines dated 23.07.2015. The guidelines are placed on NITI Aayogs website www.niti.gov.in .

NITI Aayog has the right to terminate the contract at any time, without assigning any reason.

ANNEXURE-I

(A) Senior Consultant
Educational Qualification	Essential MBBS or Masters degree in Nutrition, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Public Policy, Public Health or a closely related field Desirable MD/ PhD in related subject Published Research Work in related fields
Experience	Candidates should have more than 10 years post-qualification experience of conducting Research (preferably within Government/ International Development Agency), handling Research Team and managing Research Projects with demonstrated knowledge of research methodologies, research tools and strong writing skills. Research experience in Nutrition and Health sector and knowledge of Statistical Analysis Software like STATA/SPSS/R will be preferred. S/he must be ready to conduct field visits as per requirement.
Job Description	Supervising/conduct the work of Research & Evidence Cell under the Technical Support Unit (TSU) for the National Nutrition Mission in conducting secondary research, synthesising evidences and managing field research in areas of Nutrition and Health for meeting the objectives of National Nutrition Mission (NNM).

Experience	Candidates should have 05 to 10 years post-qualification experience of conducting qualitative and quantitative research, evidence synthesis, literature reviews and managing research projects with demonstrated knowledge of research methodologies, research tools and strong writing skills. Research experience in Nutrition and Health sector and knowledge of Statistical Analysis Software like STATA/SPSS/R will be preferred. S/he must be ready to conduct field visits as per requirement.
Job Description	Conducting secondary research, synthesising evidences and managing field research in areas of Nutrition and Health under the Technical Support Unit (TSU) for the National Nutrition Mission.

Experience	Candidates should have more than 10 years post-qualification experience of health/nutrition strategic planning and management and coordinating with stakeholders (Governments, Non-governmental organizations, International Development Agencies, and Research Organizations). Past experience of working with Government/International Agency and handling development projects in the Health and Nutrition sector and leading Project Team at Senior Level will be preferred. S/he must be ready to conduct field visits as per requirement.
Job Description	Supervise/conduct work of the planning strategic objectives and key results, developing results & monitoring framework for the plan period, coordinating with concerned Ministries and States/UTs in areas of Nutrition and Health under the Technical Support Unit (TSU) for the National Nutrition Mission.

Job Description	Planning and coordinating with concerned Ministries and States/UTs to facilitate necessary convergence under the Technical Support Unit (TSU) for the National Nutrition Mission.
