NIMHANS Invites applications for the vacant posts mentioned below, in the prescribed form from the Indian Nationals for appointment On Contract Basis.

1) DUTY MEDICAL OFFICER

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION M.B.B.S Degree
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE One year work experience in Degree. a hospital after M.B.B.S
UPPER AGE LIMIT 40 years
CONSOLIDATED PAY Rs. 60,000/-P.M
PERIOD On contract basis initially for a period of one year, likely to be renewed for the 2nd & 3rd year depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties.

2) JUNIOR SCIENTIFIC OFFICER (BRAIN BANK)

M.Sc in Biological Sciences / Neuroscience. Persons with additional educational experience can also apply

Minimum one year experience in research/teaching Biological Sciences in English in a reputed Institute.

Knowledge of computers

Participating in scientific exhibitions/capacity to speak and explain about biological specimens in Hindi/English/Kannada/other regional languages. Scientific literature search/data retrieval. Preparing

scientific material for teaching(posters) and ppt slides.

Rs.35,000/-P.M

Appointment is initially for a period of one year

which can be extended for a period upto 05 years

based on recommendation of the HOD &

satisfactory performance of duties.

3) JUNIOR SCIENTIFIC OFFICER (METABOLIC LABORATORY)

NO OF POST ONE (01-UR)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION M.Sc in Biochemistry / Medical Biochemistry from a recognized University / Institution.
EXPERIENCE Two years experience in a Biochemistry Laboratory (Relaxable for exceptional candidates).
DESIRABLE Experience in handling mass spectrometer/HPLC for clinical applications.Experience in standardizing new laboratory tests knowledge of computer softwares.
UPPER AGE LIMIT 35 years (relaxable for deserving candidates)
CONSOLIDATED SALARY Rs. 35,000/-P.M
PERIOD On contract basis for one year likely to be renewed for the 2nd & 3rd year depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties.

4) TECHNICIAN NUCLEAR MEDICINE

B.Sc Nuclear Medicine Technology approved by AERB from a recognized Institute / University

OR B.Sc Degree in Physics/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Life Sciences with PG Diploma (two years course) in Medical Radiation and Isotope Technology (DMRIT) approved by AERB from a recognized University/Institution.

Desirable: One-year experience in Nuclear Medicine and RSO Certification

5) JUNIOR TECHNICIAN

EXPERIENCE One year experience in recognized organization.

6) ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

B.Com with experience in maintaining company accounts.

Rs.21,000/-P.M

On contract basis for one year likely to be renewed for the 2nd & 3rd year depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties.

  1. The application form should be downloaded from the Institutes Website http://www.nimhans.ac.in & submitted along with required copies of certificates of the Age Proof, Academic Qualification, Caste / Community Certificate, Experience Certificate & photo, so as to reach The Registrar, NIMHANS, P.B.No.2900, Hosur Road, Bengaluru 560 029.

  2. Any modification or Corrigendum will be updated in the Institute Website only.

  3. No applications shall be entertained if it is incomplete/received after the last date prescribed/not forwarded through proper channel. The institute will not take responsibility for postal delay if any.

  4. In case if it is felt necessary, the Institute may not fill up any or all of the above posts and if so, no separate intimation will be given to the candidates.

  5. The Number of Vacancies may vary/likely to change.

  6. All the enclosures should be neatly tagged to the application and name of the post should be clearly specified in the application form.
