Salary Structure

25,000 per month + HRA @ 30% - for 1st & 2nd year

28,000 per month + HRA @ 30% - for 3rd year

Qualification

One of the following degrees from a recognized institute is essential

These qualifications are in accordance to the Official Memorandum from Government of India, Department of Science & Technology: OM no: SR/S9/Z-09/2012 dated: October 21, 2014

1. M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work

2. M.Phil in Clinical Psychology

3. MA/MSW in Social work (Medical and Psychiatry) + NET qualification 4. MA in Psychology + NET qualification

5. MSc in Clinical Psychology + NET qualification

6. MSc in Psychosocial Rehab + NET qualification

a) Experience of working in rural communities with persons with severe mental illness will be desirable.

b) Candidates should be well versed with Kannada language

Tenure of Appointment

Initial appointment will be made for a period of One year and the same will be renewed depending upon the performance of the candidate.
