Applications are invited from eligible candidates, for filling up of the following posts on CONTRACT basis for the CCRYN funded project Establishing Collaborative Research Centre to carry out Collaborative Research under
Dr.Shivarama Varambally, Addl. Professor of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator.
- 1) RESEARCH OFFICER

Number of post : 01 Essential qualification : BNYS Degree with 8 years research experience i.e. having worked for any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR,CSIR,DST or equivalent organization OR Regular Post-Graduation in Yoga/Yoga & Naturopathy from a recognized University with minimum 3 year; research experience i.e. having worked for any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH,ICMR,CSIR, DST or equivalent organization OR Post-Graduation in Physiology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Genetics/Biotechnology Desirable criteria : Hand on experience in training yoga and conducting research in yoga Age limit : 40 years Remuneration : Rs.45000/ per month (consolidated) Duration of employment : 5 years Initial appointment will be made for 6 months which will be extendable on renewal basis depending on satisfactory performance of the candidate |
- 2) YOGA THERAPIST

Number of post : 01 Essential qualification : Regular PG Degree in Yoga/Regular Degree in Yoga from a recognized University OR Any Degree from a recognized University and one year regular PG Diploma in Yoga (after degree) from a recognized University or an Institute of repute with 02 (two) years professional experience. Desirable criteria : Hands on experience in training yoga to patients with Psychiatric disorder Age limit : 35 years Remuneration : Rs.30,000/ per month (consolidated) Duration of employment : 5 years Initial appointment will be made for 6 months which will be extendable one renewal basis depending on satisfactory performance of the candidate |
