Applications are invited from eligible persons to fill the following vacant post of Driver (Ordinary Grade), Un reserved (UR) in the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), P.O. New Forest, Dehradun Uttarakhand on Direct Recruitment basis.

Between 18 and 27 years of age. (Relaxable for Government Servants upto 40 years in accordance with the instruction or orders issued by the Central Government). Note: The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be the closing date of the application submission from the candidate in India (and not the closing date prescribed for those in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunanachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba Disctrict of Himanchal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands of Lakshadwee ). |
(i)Must be 10 TH pass or equivalent. (ii)Must be holder of a valid Motor Driving License for heavy and light motor vehicles. (iii)Should be conversant with routine maintenance and servicing and be able to do running repairs. |
Posting: Initial posting shall be in Dehradun with the liability to serve anywhere in India.
Nature of Duties: Driving of Motor Vehicles, Minor repair of vehicles, maintenance and clearing of motor vehicle, maintaining log book and any other duties assigned by the officer in charge in public interest.

Age and qualification of the candidates will be counted on the closing date of the application submission.

Shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for driving test etc. (as prescribed by IGNFA) by sending call letters to their address.

The candidates will have to make their own arrangement for the test & interview etc.

The decision of the IGNFA will be final in all matters. The IGNFA shall not undertake any responsibility for sending a reply to the candidate if not selected/shortlisted.
