NIFT invites applicant for the following position on short term contract basis as per details given below for the USTTAD project (joint initiative of NIFT and Ministry of Minority Affairs that aims at training and upgrading skills of master craft persons in preservation of traditional ancestral arts/crafts of minorities).

Eligibility Conditions and Job Responsibilities

1. Senior Project Associate Graduate of NIFT from design discipline 6 years and above with significant experience of craft sector Co-ordination, understanding of design, craft, research methodology, planning etc. To work on the project to liaison with all PIT (HO), Designers conducting workshops. Compilation of the reports & documents received time to time. To conduct workshops/ Handlooms and Handicraft study/ documentation as and when required.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION

  1. NIFT reserves the right to fill or not to fill any/all the positions advertised or postpone the recruitment process of the same.
  2. Maximum age, for applying for the above mentioned positions, would be five years less than the retirement age of regular employees (60 years), as on the last date for receipt of CVs/ applications.
  3. The candidate should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility (qualification/experience etc.) requirements.
